A message from Sofia:

My Fringe project Tableau/Tablao is nominated for the Dance Award! Hooray! I’m so proud and grateful to everyone who participated in the project. Thank you to Jackson Vickery for his brilliant work and inspiring me so much. Thank you to Songy Knox for her stunning photography and video images used both in the show and in promotion. Thank you to Kelli-Anne Dyne for being my super pretty very rude Flamenco doll and also dancing so beautifully when she finally got to come to life. Thank you to Emma Macmillan for creating her costume. Thank you to Luke Thomas for making my door and his invaluable help with shifting props and fixing things and just making things work. Thank you to the lovely M-Muriel Zhillion Toulcanon and the equally lovely Carole Katz for their wonderful singing and dancing and for teaching me about their culture. Thank you to Camila Mercado for translating my poetry and reading it with so much passion. Thank you to my mum for her unwavering support of my project. Thank you to everyone who came to see us, especially my castanet helpers in the audience. And last but not least thank you to Jay Emanuel and St George’s Dance & Theatre for an awesome season. THANK YOU!
